 Our Courses

Chinese Language (P1 to P6)
2 hours per week

For CL students who wish to focus on reinforcing MOE school syllabus and tackle all components of the CL exams

  • Master content of CL syllabus in school
  • Practise all components of the CL exam, with heavier emphasis on Paper 2
  • Essay & Oral practice once a month

  • Aligned with the latest MOE syllabus and exam requirements for Chinese Language Complement students’ learning in school, with a strong emphasis on vocabulary building, word recognition, writing of Chinese characters and sentence construction
  • Systematically acquire 400 – 500 new vocabulary words per year, and be able to read and write them
  • Provide students with a platform to revise, reinforce and apply their knowledge and skills
  • Receive personalised feedback for improvement and acquire examination skills through regular tests, revisions and mock examinations
  • Immerse in Chinese culture through exposure to proverbs, idioms, adages, verses, poetry and prose
  • Lesson components include: Revision and Extension of Knowledge (温故知新), Deep Dive into School Syllabus (学习课文), Vocabulary Acquisition (积少成多), Writing Practice (抄写生字) and various exercises according to the CL Paper 2 Exam format (e.g. Language Use 语文应用, Cloze Passage 短文填充, Complete the Dialogue完成对话 and Comprehension阅读理解)

PSLE Chinese/ Higher Chinese Crash Course

But we've met before. That was a long time ago, I was a kid at St. Swithin's, It used to be funded by the Wayne Foundation. It's an orphanage. My mum died when I was small, it was a car accident. I don't remember it. My dad got shot a couple of years later for a gambling debt. Oh I remember that one just fine. Not a lot of people know what it feels like to be angry in your bones.
